Historical

CERDECAM was created in 1982 to ensure the promotion of research, in particular technological research, by
collaborating in R&D projects of industrial companies and by advising or assisting people, private companies or
public bodies calling on its services in the fields research, development or training.
The activities developed by CERDECAM are linked to training provided by ECAM: industrial engineers in
Electromechanics, Automation, Electronics, IT, Construction, Surveyor, health engineering.

CERDECAM develops applied research projects, provides technological services for companies, organizes
continuing education for graduate engineers and supports the development of entrepreneurial activities for students.

Ongoing projects (2021)

o Design of a wireless and contactless charging system for robotic applications or light electric vehicles.
o Development of an ego-centric network mapping tool to define the social support network for patients with severe
mental disorders to improve care coordination, patient engagement and personalized care.
o Design, construction and validation of test equipment to study the hygrothermal behavior and energy performance
of building elements with full simulation of indoor and outdoor climates.
Finalised projects
o Development of a real time ICT solution using tracking and detection of points of interest (POI) in 3D from 2D
cameras in the service of motion recognition and analysis.
o Development of a new generation of streamlined urban wind turbines for building corners.
o Design of a machine to help, accelerate or even automate the sorting of live mealworms in order to produce insect
meal for the bakery
o Design of an autonomous robot with Ultra-Wideband technology
o Development of a vibrating floor allowing speech learning for deaf and hard of hearing people
o Design of an onboard image referencing module for drones.
o Development of a proof of concept circuit for a medical surveillance bracelet intended for the surveillance of
elderly people at home
o Design of a wind power system for street lights along major roads and highways
o Development of an online learning platform to improve reading and writing skills in the French language.
o Development of piezoelectric transformers for generating high DC voltages for space applications.
o Development of a new rafter system intended to strengthen the structural and thermal capacities of timber frame
buildings
o Design of a technical prototype for acoustic cladding for upright piano aimed at reducing noise pollution in the
neighborhood
o Development of new concepts of auxiliary power converters to achieve their better integration into their
environment
