The “Well Done – MSD Health Literacy Awards” aim to encourage, recognize and reward initiatives that promote the ability of an individual the ability of an individual to find, understand and use basic health information, treatment options available to him and to make informed decisions about their own health.
The goal, ultimately, is to highlight the importance and impact of health literacy, stimulate its optimization and thus improve health care in our country.
Anyone working with or operating in the health sector is invited to submit an application. There are three Prizes:
- 1st Line Award – for 1st line medical staff such as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists,..
- Specialty Care Award – for specialists or hospital actors (midwives, catering managers in hospitals, hospital physiotherapists, …)
- Community Award – for public institutions, patient organizations or individuals.
The winner of each category will win the sum of 3,000 euros plus a recognition and media coverage of the project. Applications must be submitted for 24 April 2015 on the Well Done website.
