Agoria, pharma.be & ISPE Belgium are delighted to invite their members to their joint event entitled “Unleashing Innovation” to learn about this digital revolution and boost and strengthen the exchange of innovative ideas, technologies and applications between the pharmaceutical and technology industries.
Two paradigm shifts drive the revolution. Firstly, the availability of big data and the emergence of new digital health technologies(eHealth, mobile apps, sensors, …) revolutionise the organisation of healthcare and make pharmaceutical solutions ever more patient-centric. Secondly, pharmaceutical companies are moving beyond the pill, recognising the need to develop more personalised treatment solutions. To further enable this evolution, pharmaceutical manufacturing operations need to evolve, by embracing Industry 4.0 – the integration of physical and information flows in cyber-physical production systems and by adopting new technologies and partnerships to make their production infrastructure more efficient.
