De Clercq & Partners (DCP) invites you to a small and friendly after-work session on patent filing strategies and subsidies available to would-be patent applicants. It combines the benefits of short and focused presentations, informal discussion, and networking with colleagues active in your sector.
The patent filing system can seem quite complicated with a multitude of different ways available protect your invention. Each filing route has its advantages and disadvantages and has to be tailored to your company’s needs. Your business model, R&D strategy and financial means are just some of the factors that can help decide the optimum strategy. The Belgian Government is a strong supporter of R&D and innovation at both the federal and regional levels, using R&D tax incentives and direct R&D grants to support these activities. In particular, Belgium offers investors a very attractive regime for R&D activities and the management of Intellectual Property (IP).
During this session DCP will explain the best approaches for seeking IP protection, followed by a comprehensive overview of the funding opportunities available to support your R&D activities presented by MINT Europe.
The session is free of charge, but registration is mandatory.
