Who can participate?

The 1st edition of MedFIT will gather 500 participants with 50% international actors (medtech and diagnostics companies and start-ups, TTOs, academia, R&D services companies and investors) who will have the opportunity to meet potential investors and partners from both academia and industry.

  • Presentation sessions to promote innovations through the presentation of R&D projects, innovative start-ups and “ready to be licensed” technologies
  • Exhibition area to enhance your visibility
  • Informal networking event

The Startup Slams give young entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their projects and find partners and/or investors who share their vision.

Are you a start-up and do you have a project to present?

Apply for the Startup Slams and have the opportunity to present your project, raise awareness among medtechs, TTOs, VCs and media in the audience and in addition receive valuable feedback and advice from an expert jury.

Benefits of applying:

  • Enhance your visibility thanks to a dedicated meeting space within the exhibition
  • Present your global strategy to potential partners and investors who could support your company.
  • Receive feedback and advice by experienced medtech and VCs on how to advance your project.


Your project must have been established in the past 5 years or in the process of establishment

Terms & conditions:

Applications which fail to conform with the Eligibility and/or Terms & Conditions will not be reviewed.

Application form:

  • Only type-written, complete applications must be processed.
  • Application must be completed in English.
  • Complete applications must be received by email.

Slam selection process:

  • The application will be evaluated by an expert jury. Successful applications will be those considered to have the optimal business and/or scientific potential.
  • Only selected applications will be able to present their project.
  • Successful applicants will be notified by email.
