As such, National Contact Points act as a bridge between the EC and companies, academia, research centres. Their services are free of charge.
There is one National Contact Point for any area covered by the EU funding for Research and Innovation programmes, including currently Horizon 2020 (which covers the period 2014-2020) and the follow-up of funding provided until 2014 under the 7th Framework Program (FP7) and the Competitiveness and Innovation Program (CIP).
