What does the purchasing process of a Hospital look like?

November 9 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

hospital purchasing process

As a HealthTech Innovator, you understand the needs of your customers. You have developed a solution that answers them. Your product or service is ready and then comes the hurdle… you need to sell it. This challenge is even more important when you target Hospitals : complex organization, formalized purchasing procedures, public procurement, heavy selling cycles…

So, to help get you insight about your Sales Cycle, the first seminar of our cycle “Sell it to Hospitals” will focus on the decision processes taking place inside of the hospital.

Ioan Stefos, General Director, and Anne-Françoise Van Boxstael, Head of Legal department of IRIS-Purchasing (CHU Brugmann, HUDERF, Iris South Hospitals, CHU Saint-Pierre, Jules Bordet Institute, the the iris-Lab and iris-Holding associations) will share their experience with a small number of HealthTech entrepreneurs, targeting following topics :

  • Understanding the Hospital’s buyer profile
  • The obligation of hospitals to follow Public Procurement procedures
  • How is a purchasing decision made inside of the hospital?
  • What should a small innovative company do to sell its solution to a hospital.

After the seminar, a Q&A session with the present entrepreneurs will take place.

Attention : Please note that exceptionally, this seminar will be given in French.
