As part of the EU Horizon 2020 Peer2Scale-Health project to which lifetech.brussels contributes.
With the kind participation of Lindacare, Matrix Requirements, Eurasanté (FR), BioM (DE), BioCat (ES)
On January 30 from 4:30 to 6:30pm, lifetech.brussels organizes a FREE workshop on scalability at the coworking Factory Forty (right before our annual event!). We will have the great pleasure to host Lindacare and Matrix Requirements. These two startups having successfully scaled up, will share their experience and how they have overcome the challenges associated with their expansion strategy with the audience. The debate will then focus on what could the EU project Peer2Scale-Health bring to entrepreneurs wanting to scale-up (tools/ program/ coaching…). You are more than welcome to join us! More info? Ask Sophie: email@example.com.
4:30 – 4:45pm: Intro by Frédéric Suche & Sophie Liénart, lifetech.brussels

What is Peer2Scale-Health?
Since May 2019, lifetech.brussels is happily involved in a 1-year Horizon 2020 – Innosup 05 project called Peer2Scale-Health, together with 3 other healthcare innovation agencies: Eurasanté (FR), BioCat (ES), and BioM (DE). The overall objective of the project is the mutual learning, test and delivery of improved support services to young health SMEs and entrepreneurs to prepare them for the scale-up process. In this perspective, regular workshops are organized between the members of the consortium to encourage peer learning around these themes. This peer-learning action will lead to a Design Options Paper (DOP) explaining the applied methodology, achieved results and how to engage (health) innovation agencies and ecosystems in a peer-learning action too.
Workshop # 1 took place in Lille in June 2019 and aimed at exchanging good practices around current supports (including acceleration and incubation programs) provided to help SMEs in their scale-up process, with a special focus on entrepreneurship and funding.
Workshop # 2 took place in Barcelona in October 2019. Experimental ways to develop improved innovation services that will be tested later on (follow-up initiative) have been discussed, in line with what is taught in the postgraduate program d.health Barcelona.
Workshop # 3 will take place in Brussels on January 30-31, 2020. This last meeting will give us the opportunity to draw conclusions for the DOP and further define the new support programme and how to deliver it. It is in this perspective that we invite you to our “Scalability workshop”. Welcome! More info? Ask Sophie: firstname.lastname@example.org. Subscribe here.
